What one needs are knowledgeable, hardworking and imaginative people to further develop this wonderful concept. We have the start of that in the shape of Amy Gould, Director of Dance Crew, Principal of the AGBS and owner of the Theatre On-Main, Dr Dawn Gould, owner of FACTS FOUND, a historical research bureau and… all of you who will contribute in many interesting ways. Following on is more theatre from the new look Absa KKNK Festival, the restructuring of The Bridgetown Theatre Company and the ImproGuise Improv Festival. Presenting Stéfan Louw with the Pro Cantare Choir
at the Joburg Promusica Theatre in Roodepoort and Romantic opera just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Brundyn + Gonsalves present an exhibition of work by recent graduates from the Michaelis School of Fine Art, the Ruth Prowse School of Art and the University of Stellenbosch. More Art from The Cape Gallery with a solo exhibition of work by Roelof Rossouw - People and Places of The Cape. Words with historical roots will be of interest as well as Interesting historical dates from the past by our historian Dr Gould. deadCENTER Film Festival is now accepting entries for it’s annual event so if film is your interest don’t miss this one. The transformation from a disused bowling green to a vibrant, beautiful, and nourishing Farm in Oranjezicht makes for fascinating reading.
