UK cyclist with disability requires photographer to record Franschhoek to Knysna cycle tour in April – Denis Lillie from the Cape Film Commission

We have been approached by a UK based client who is a cyclist with disability. She and a group of other war veterans will be cycling from Franschhoek to Knysna to raise money for charity.

The cycle tour will commence on 24th April in Franschhoek and finish on Sunday 1st May in Knysna.

They require a photographer to record the trip for them, to take video footage and photographs to create a mini documentary and record of the trip for broadcast on one of the UK channels and to use for further fundraising.

The photographer will be required to travel with the support vehicles and film the cycling and evening activities around a braai or wine-tasting.

There will also be filming required of the triumphant arrival in Knysna and the celebratory finish line closing party.

All accommodation and meals will be provided.

If you have the appropriate time available and expertise, please submit your CV to info@capefilmcommission.co.za stating your CFC membership number and your expected daily rates. Please bear in mind that this is a charitable event.

The closing date for submission is close of business on Thursday 21 January 2016 when we will collate submissions and forward them on to the client for review.
