We would like to invite you to be part of the first edition of THE POTTERY FAIR, held at Liebermann Pottery (Glenhill Farm, 20 Kommetjie Road, Imhoff) in the South Peninsula in Cape Town.

Please join our facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/207829013330541

Our intention is to celebrate ceramic art in all its forms by bringing the public and the artists from the broader Cape Town region to join us on “this side of the mountain”.
We will have coffee served in ceramic mugs, craft beer poured from a ceramic tap, and we shall even eat food from the stalls or listen to music sitting on some of our large ceramic pots!
A kids activity play area will be on offer so that you can enjoy some free browsing time.

STALLS
Many talented artists will be present, selling attractive ceramic arts, sculpture, pottery and crafts. A list of the stallholders will be announced on this page at a closer date.
We will also include a Children’s Art Stall, managed by Roxy Star Turner-Hoets to promote the youngest’s talents.

THE LAUNCH OF A NEW CERAMIC ART GALLERY
On the day we will launch our first ART EXHIBITION in the new gallery situated on the farm. The exhibiting artist(s) will be announced in August.

OPEN STUDIOS
The artists who work on the farm, associated as South Peninsula Studio Ceramics, will open their studios for the day and you are welcome to have a look around their bustling creative workspace.

THE “Art for Bhongolethu” STALL
We are organising a stall in benefit of the local educational NPO Bhongolethu Foundation, supported by participating artists who have been invited to donate a piece for this local Foundation. Bhongolethu funds and runs 2 preschools and a primary school in the close vicinity of the farm.

SILENT AUCTION
The silent auction is very exciting: artists will be exhibiting a piece in the bidding gallery. You are invited to bid by inserting your price in the secret bidding boxes. At the end of the day the name of the highest bidder for each piece will be revealed!

WORKSHOPS
Workshop by legend potter Andrew Walford 10:30 to 12. Sales on Quicket from end July.
Children’s workshop by Cathrine Grier
